About

Welcome, appreciated reader! I hope you like bread. If not – then it is my mission to convince you that bread is really nice stuff. And it is really good for you. You should try it.

No? Are you one of those low carb enthusiasts, perhaps? There will be a bread for you too. I’ll let you know when I make one.

But if you’re here because you like bread and want to explore the world of bread tasting and be able to make great bread yourself – then good! We can be enthusiastic together, and maybe learn a thing or two from each other.

I’m Norwegian and I’m born and raised on bread. Bread is strongly rooted in our culture. Now I live in Florida, where grocery stores have shelves upon shelves of different bread – but none that I find particularly satisfying … So I started making my own. And I got hooked.

There are so many things to say about the process of baking, in addition to the actual procedure. This is what I itch to share. My bread baking spring from Skandinavian traditions, and I hope I can inspire americans and others to appreciate the value of real bread, made from the heart.

    1. Thank you, Teagan, for a very generous comment! I found your pages very interesting too so I made sure to follow and stay informed on new posts 🙂 Have a wonderful Sunday.

  1. What a wonderful blog, Marwinna! I’m so glad you stopped by as we have a lot in common. Having been raised on bread myself, I agree with you that the way forward is to bake your own bread. Looking forward to following your journey!
